What you're making
Build the site for a restaurant, any kind of food, any vibe. Menu, the chef's story, photos of actual dishes, and a booking flow. The page has to do what walking past a restaurant with the right smell does: make someone want to be inside in twenty minutes.
A restaurant landing page: a hero establishing atmosphere, a menu that's actually readable, the chef or story behind the place, and a reservation flow. Appetite and atmosphere are the product; the booking button is just where it lands.

Core features · 7
- A hero that establishes atmosphere through real or realistic photography, not stock food shots
- A menu that's genuinely readable, organised by course, not a scanned PDF
- A section on the chef or the place's story with some specific, human detail
- A reservation flow with date, time and party size
- Location, hours and transit information visible without a click
- Photography of actual dishes placed to build appetite as you scroll
- At least one moment of real motion — dishes or photography that respond to scroll, not just fading in
The interesting part
- Food photography-heavy pages are slow by default; keeping load fast without flattening the visuals
- A reservation flow that handles party size and time slots without becoming a form nobody finishes
- Writing a menu structure that's legible on a phone screen
Once it works
- Add a live table-availability view
- Add a wine or drinks pairing suggestion per dish
- Add a private-events enquiry form
