Standup Bot
Collects everyone's update in a thread, then posts one tidy summary.
What you're making
Instead of a meeting, a bot asks each person the same three questions at a time that suits their timezone, collects the answers privately, then posts one clean summary to the channel. Nobody sits through fifteen minutes of updates that don't concern them, and people in other timezones stop getting up early for it.
A chat bot that runs asynchronous standups: per-person prompts on a schedule, private collection, and a single formatted digest. Timezone-correct scheduling and chasing non-responders politely are the real work.
Hosting · Free tier, metered
Deploys free on Cloudflare Workers, Fly.io or Railway.
A personal bot sits well inside free tiers, but it does need somewhere always-on to receive events.
Invite it to a server; free hosting tiers cover a personal bot.
